WW I exhibit at Moyock Library. Open house stop be announced sponsored by the Arts Council and the Historical Society.

July 4th:   Kids Bike Parade and reading of the Declaration of Independence. 

 Opening of “stock and pillory” on Courthouse grounds.  

July 18, 2018 – July 25th Exhibit of panels on History of Albemarle and Time line of Currituck History.

July 29:  Pirate celebration sponsored by Tourism at Weeping Radish.

August  WWI exhibit at Moyock Library.

September 10 Historical Society at Moyock Library.  Dr. Lindley Butler Speaker.

September 16:  Church Heritage Day.  Celebrate our founding fathers.

October: Tour of Old Currituck with Dare,Tyrrell. and Hyde.  To be announced.

October 13 & 14:  House tour of Mainland and Outer Banks sponsored by Chamber.

October 21: Farm to Table hosted by Moyock Womens Club

November 3:  Currituck County 350th Celebration at Rural Center starting at 12:00

Heritage Day in the afternoon

November:  Native American Day at Rural Center sponsored by Extension.  To be announced.

Presentation of gift to County.  Painting.

December 10:  Historical Society wrap up of 350th.  Dr. Harry Watson to be speaker
